Development of methodology of molecular study of samaras of Fraxinus excelsior aimed at detecting the presence of Hymenoscyphus fraxineus . In order to confirm the effectiveness of thermotherapy and cryotherapy in eliminating Hymenoscyphus fraxineus pathogens, seed samples have been subject to two tests: in vitro culture on a special substrate and molecular analysis aimed at identification of the pathogen’s genetic material.

As a part of the FraxUmLBG project the specialists at the Research and Implementation Lab Complex initiated research aimed at finding a method of elimination of a pathogen from samaras of Fraxinus excelsior prior to long-term preservation in FBG. The seeding material was acquired from 13 positions in Poland, such as the Forest Districts of Pniewy, Międzychód, Choszczno, Głusko, Strzelce Krajeńskie, Gryfino, Łobez, Tuczno, Czarnobór, Kwidzyń, Wejherowo, Jamy, Zamrzenica.
